Water heater maker Rinnai hires a Smith, Gambrell lawyer as its GC
Peachtree City, Georgia-based Rinnai Corp., manufacturer of water heaters, has hired Perry McGuire to be its vice president and general counsel. McGuire hailed from the law firm Smith, Gambrell & Russell, where he was a partner in corporate group and practiced general corporate law with an emphasis on franchise, M&A and governmental affairs.
McGuire previously worked for Chick-fil-A Inc. as a corporate attorney and is a former state Senator who was a 2006 candidate for Attorney General of Georgia.
“Perry McGuire is an excellent addition to the Rinnai Executive Leadership Team,” said Frank Windsor, president of Rinnai America. “His extensive business and legal experience will help to facilitate the aggressive growth plans we have for Rinnai America Corporation.”
In his new role, McGuire will help the Japanese company grow in North America, says the company. It is expanding its domestic manufacturing facility and expanding the product portfolio. “I am pleased to be joining Rinnai America Corporation during this exciting time of growth for the organization,” said McGuire. “I look forward to working with the team to expand our footprint and product offering.”
