Travelex promotes deputy GC for North America to top lawyer for the region
Travelex, the company with currency exchange kiosks in seemingly every airport you’re in, has promoted Tania Ali to general counsel and corporate secretary for its North American operation. Ali now leads the company’s North America’s legal team, overseeing the needs of the long-established retail and corporate business units and helping to drive North America’s fast-growing cross-border payments business.

And before then, she was senior legal counsel at Adecco USA Inc., Ali reports to James Birch, Travelex’s global general counsel.
“I am delighted to confirm Tania’s promotion to General Counsel, North America. Tania is an astute lawyer who possesses excellent commercial skills. Among other achievements she has been instrumental in the development and delivery of Travelex’s key business lines” said Birch in a statement.
