The U.S. Copyright Office has appointed Suzanne Wilson (pictured) as general counsel and associate register of copyrights, effective January 31st.

In her new role, Wilson will be responsible for an extensive portfolio of regulatory, litigation and policy matters for the office.

Earlier in her career she served as associate at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips. Prior to that, she was a law clerk for a Judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
