Richard Kaltenbach joins FXSpotStream as general counsel

FXSpotStream, the no cost, multi-bank, foreign exchange & precious metals price aggregation service for price takers, has appointed Richard Kaltenbach as General Counsel. He will be based in the company’s Jersey City offices and will provide support to FXSpotStream’s global businesses.

Kaltenbach joins the company after a 15 year tenure at NEX Group plc (formerly ICAP plc), which was acquired by CME Group in 2018. At NEX, he most recently served as General Counsel (Americas) and Global Head of Compliance. In these roles, he was responsible for all legal matters in the Americas region, including the United States, Canada, and Latin America. He supervised legal support for all regulatory, employment, litigation, antitrust, and intellectual property matters across the globe. Kaltenbach was also responsible for managing the Compliance function for ten regulated entities across the globe, including a broker-dealer, SEF, introducing broker, UK MTF and UK investment firm, and products including FX and FX derivatives, US Treasury and agency securities, and interest rate swaps.
