Reali appoints Silicon Valley veteran Delma Locke as chief legal officer
Reali, a real estate and fintech platform, has appointed Delma Locke (pictured) as chief legal officer. In her new role as Reali’s CLO, Locke will lead and build the company’s legal, compliance and regulatory functions.
Locke is a veteran counsel and trusted advisor with more than two decades of legal leadership at Silicon Valley tech giants spanning a wide range of matters including corporate governance, m&a and regulatory compliance.
Locke joins Reali from Uber where she most recently served as associate general counsel of New Mobility global business division. She started with Uber pre-IPO and was instrumental in building the legal framework for the company’s high growth New Mobility business division. She was also founding Chair of the company’s CLO diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) council.
Prior to joining Uber, Locke was vice president, deputy general counsel and assistant corporate secretary for Singularity University. In 2008, she joined Apple as chief counsel to the vice president, where she built the legal framework and processes which helped scale Apple’s US Sales Division from a USD 30 million to an over USD 50 billion a year revenue business. She was also a director and associate general counsel at Sun Microsystems.
