OneMain Holdings appoints Lily Fu Claffee as chief legal officer
OneMain Holdings, a consumer financial services provider, appoints Lily Fu Claffee (pictured), the former Fox News Media general counsel as chief legal officer. She will be replacing Adam Rosman, who will be leaving the company in July 2021.
Claffee brings to OneMAin almost 30 years of legal experience. Her most recent appointment was with Fox News Media, where she served as executive vice president & general counsel for 3 years. She started her career as a Judicial clerk at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit. Claffee then moved to Mayer Brown law firm as an associate for litigation and antitrust, she later made partner.
Prior to joining the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in 2010 as senior vice president, chief legal officer & general counsel, Claffee was a partner in Jones Day’s government regulation practice, having joined the firm in 2008. Prior to that, she served as general counsel for the U.S. Department of Commerce and deputy general counsel at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. She also served as deputy associate attorney general for the U.S. Department of Justice.
