Michele Lee has left Twitter for Pinterest
Twitter’s head of global litigation Michele Lee has left the social network to join Pinterest as associate general counsel. “After nearly six wonderful (and crazy!) years at Twitter, I’ve flown the coop – she had announced on Linkedin in December – I’ll be joining the fantastic lawyers over at Pinterest!“.
Lee began the new job on January 11 in San Francisco. At Pinterest she is responsible for litigation, regulatory and employment matters, reporting to Pinterest general counsel Christine Flores. The imaging sharing company recently formed a special committee that worked with Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale & Dorr to study workplace culture at the company.
Lee began her in-house career in 2012 as global litigation and competition counsel at Visa. Afterwards, she joined Twitter in 2015 as litigation counsel and later became senior director and associate general counsel. In her final role with the San Francisco-based company, she oversaw global litigation, regulatory and competition matters.
