Harold Glasser hired as Pathfinder International’s chief legal officer
Pathfinder International, a reproductive health non-profit company, has appointed Harold Glasser (pictured) as its new chief legal officer, effective May 01.
In his new role as CLO, Glasser will provide organisation-wide legal guidance and oversight of Pathfinder’s legal function, and legal counsel to the CEO, Board of Directors, organisational business units, and country organisations. He will serve as a strategic advisor and will provide guidance in establishing new organisational and business structures, such as local entities, joint ventures, and other contractual partnerships.
Glasser, a legal veteran with more than 3 decades of experience, spent more than 20 years as in-house counsel at Merck & Co. before branching out to other local and international organisations including Sanofi Pasteur MSD in France; Ferring Pharmaceuticals, Sustainable Innovations and Vital Strategies in the U.S. He most recently founded a non-profit company, Health Impact Partnership, whose mission is to accelerate sustainable improvements in healthcare access in low-income countries and in underfunded healthcare sectors.
