Electronic payments specialist Repay hires its outside counsel to be GC

Fintech specialist Repay Holdings Corp. has hired Tyler Dempsey to be its general counsel. The company says that Dempsey has provided legal counsel and support to REPAY for more than 9 years as outside counsel at Troutman Sanders, where he has served as a partner since 2008. He has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic alliances, and corporate governance and securities matters.

Before joining Troutman Sanders, Dempsey was an attorney at King & Spalding. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for TAG FinTech.

He received a J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law and a B.S. in accounting from the University of Tennessee.
