Jill Ratner appointed as Disney’s new deputy general counsel of litigation
Walt Disney has promoted Jill Ratner (pictured) to deputy general counsel of litigation, she assumes her expanded role September 13th.
Ratner, who joined Disney in 2019 with the company’s acquisition of 21st Century Fox, will continue to manage intellectual property, digital antipiracy and technology, and corporate social responsibility for Disney. Ratner started her career with 21st Century Fox in 2004 as vice president of litigation and held a number of senior executive positions during her tenure with the company. She most recently served as executive vice president and deputy general counsel overseeing litigation, employment and content protection for all of the company’s worldwide operations. Earlier in her career, Ratner was a litigation associate with two Los Angeles based law firms.
