Purple Strategies, a corporate reputation strategy firm, has elevated Darryl Packard (pictured) to be the firm’s general counsel. Packard steps into the role with more than 15 years of experience in all aspects of business law, including from previous roles in the education, student loan and insurance industries. He joined Purple in 2019 as counsel.
In this new role, Packard will advise on matters related to the future direction of the company. He will be able to provide insight on new and existing laws and legal rights that impact functionality of the business, including areas such as returning to the physical office, partnerships with vendors and contractors, and corporate governance matters. As Purple continues to evolve as a firm, Packard will work as part of the senior leadership team to develop and expand policies, practices and processes to ensure sustainable growth.
Prior to joining Purple Strategies, Packard was a senior contracts manager at CenterPoint Education Solutions. Earlier in his career he served for 7 years as associate general counsel for the American Student Assistance and for more that 2 years as a sourcing buyer for State Farm.
