Christine Flores (pictured), Pinterest’s general counsel since 2017, will be leave the company on October 1, according to a securities filing.
Flores is working with the company to find her replacement and ensure a smooth transition, Pinterest said in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing Tuesday.
In a statement Wednesday, the company said, “Christine Flores will be stepping back from her role at Pinterest at the end of the year to focus on her personal interests. She has been a valued member of the executive team for over five years and truly dedicated to her work as Pinterest’s general counsel, managing our legal, compliance and public policy teams.”
Flores joined Pinterest in May 2017 from Google, where she spent nearly a decade and was last vice president of legal, leading a team of about 100 lawyers.
