Brink’s has a new general counsel to stand watch over its legal strategy

The Brink’s Co., the company popularly known for its ubiquitous armored trucks, has ired that Dana O’Brien to be its senior vice president and general counsel effective April 15, 2019.

Before being hired by Brink’s, O’Brien was senior vice president and general counsel at CenterPoint Energy, where she was responsible for legal, compliance, government affairs and internal audit. From 2007 to 2014, she was the chief legal and compliance officer at CEVA Logistics, where she led the global legal and compliance functions in facilities in more than 170 countries. O’Brien earned her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law and her B.A. from Trinity University.

Doug Pertz, Brink’s president and CEO, said in a statement: “We are excited to welcome Dana to the Brink’s leadership team.  In addition to her many years of in-house counsel experience, she has a background in logistics and substantial expertise in handling legal matters on a global scale including regulatory compliance and mergers and acquisitions.”
