Blue Apron serves up a new general counsel
Packaged meal prep company Blue Apron Holdings Inc. has hired Meredith Deutsch as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. She’s starting today, and reports directly to CEO Linda Findley Kozlowski.
Deutsch, who will oversee all of the company’s legal and regulatory affairs, comes to Blue Ribbon from the firm Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver and Jacobson, where she was special counsel. Before that, Deutsch spent three years as GC at Morgans Hotel Group Co., and she previously served as a consultant and acting general counsel to KIT digital, Inc. Deutsch spent the first 12 years of her law career in the capital markets practice at Jones Day.
Deutsch, who replaced former GC Christina Halliday, who reportedly left Blue Apron after a disappointing earnings report, earned her Juris Doctor from Cornell Law School, cum laude, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Pennsylvania.
