Beauty products company Coty hires a Dr Pepper lawyer to head its legal department

The global beauty company Coty Inc. has hired Kristin Blazewicz as chief legal officer, general counsel and secretary, and a member of Coty’s executive Committee. She starts on the job March 15. Blazewicz will be based in Amsterdam and will report to Pierre Laubies, CEO, succeeding Greer McMullen., who has decided to leave the company. In recent years Coty has suffered weak results in its consumer lines, which contrasts with strong performance in luxury markets.

In her new role, Blazewicz will be responsible for overseeing Coty’s legal affairs worldwide. The lawyer has spent the last seven years with Keurig Dr Pepper Inc., where she eventually was promoted to VP and assistant general counsel. In a statement, Coty said that Blazewicz brings with her a wealth of senior global experience in the legal field and over a decade of in-house and law firm background.”

Pierre Laubies said: “Kristin’s deep expertise in Legal affairs and track record of success will be a great addition to the Coty Executive Committee, and we are looking forward to having her on board soon.”
