Auto parts maker Dorman revs up legal team with new GC Braun
Dorman Product Inc. has hired Joseph Braun as senior VP and general counsel. Braun succeeds Thomas Knoblauch, who will continue as an in-house lawyer until his retirement at the end of this year.
The company in a release says that Braun has than 20 years’ experience advising publicly traded companies on corporate governance matters, SEC reporting and financing and M&A transactions. He joins Dorman from his post as chief legal officer of Avantor, Inc. Braun has held a number of other legal positions, including Vice President Mergers & Acquisitions at Tyco International, after beginning his legal career in private practice at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius. Braun is a graduate of the Temple University School of Law and West Chester University.
