Clubhouse taps Anthony Falzone as its first general counsel
Anthony Falzone (pictured), deputy general counsel at Pinterest, has joined Clubhouse as the social media company’s first general counsel.
Falzone started the new role this month, according to his LinkedIn profile. The privately held Clubhouse, valued at $4 billion earlier this year, is owned by Alpha Exploration Co.
Falzone joined Clubhouse from Pinterest Europe Limited, where he served for over 3 years as data protection officer. He served as Pinterest’s deputy general counsel for nine years from 2012 to 2021. Before Pinterest, Falzone was an executive director at Fair Use Project, and a lecturer at Stanford Law School as well as a partner at Bingham McCutchen law firm. Falzone started his legal career as a law clerk for a U.S. District judge in San Diego, California.
