Adobe appoints Luc Dammann to lead EMEA business

Adobe – the American multinational computer software company incorporated in Delaware and headquartered in San Jose, California – announced the appointment of Luc Dammann as President of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) business. In his role, Luc will lead Adobe’s business and enterprise operations across Adobe Experience Cloud, Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Document Cloud, helping brands navigate digitisation by using content and data to create, personalise and power their customer experiences. Luc will be reporting into Stephen Frieder, Adobe’s Head of Global Go-to-Market and Sales.

Stephen Frieder said: “In a world where consumer behaviour is difficult to predict and changing daily, it is becoming more important for companies to deliver rich and dynamic digital experiences that drive connections with consumers, across every touchpoint. Luc brings to this role his relentless drive, creativity, and a proven track record of helping brands connect with customers as individuals, in every interaction, through personalised and powerful experiences.”

Luc joined Adobe in 2016 to lead the Southwest Europe region, and then served as Vice President and Managing Director for Western Europe. He led customer relationships with brands including Real Madrid, Prada, Accor, Stellantis, BNP Paribas and Crédit Agricole, ensuring every customer experience across channels is delivered to the right person, at the right time. He has previously held general management and sales leadership positions for large software companies and start-ups in France and Europe, focused on driving sustainable business performance.

Luc Dammann, President of EMEA, Adobe, commented: “Across every digital experience, consumers increasingly expect personalised and contextual experiences. To fulfil this need, companies in every industry are investing in digital technologies that provide a unified view of their customers, so they can deliver engaging, effective experience – every time. I’m excited to work with our teams to support brands in unlocking value for their customers through personalisation at scale.”

Adobe has recently expanded its presence across Europe, Middle East and Africa, specifically at its sites in Paris, Milan, Basel and Bucharest, and has a total of 26 offices and innovation centers across the region.
