Actuant creates new GC role and hires Fabrizio Rasetti to fill it

The industrial company Actuant announced on Monday that it hired Fabrizio Rasetti as its general counsel. The company makes specialized industrial tools, products for the energy industry, and motion control systems and is based in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.

Rasetti has extensive in-house legal and business experience. Most recently, he was at Boart Longyear, where he served as senior VP, general counsel and secretary since 2006. Before then, he spent 10 years at SPX Corporation, eventually becoming general counsel and VP of business development in one of its units. He earned both his bachelor and JD degrees from Georgetown University.

“I am pleased to welcome Fabrizio to Actuant,” said the company’s CEO and president Randy Baker. “His diverse legal experience, business acumen and track record of collaboration and building great teams will be an integral part of our leadership structure.”
