ACC: 2021 Virtual Annual Meeting Leadership Awards
The Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC), a global legal association representing more than 45,000 members in 85 countries, recognized members, chapters, and networks demonstrating outstanding leadership, service, and dedication to the in-house counsel community at the 2021 ACC Annual Meeting, held virtually.
ACC President and CEO, Veta T. Richardson, presented the following honors with 2022 ACC global board of directors chair Mike Madden (head of group legal, commercial, and procurement at Hyne Timber) at the 2021 Virtual Annual Meeting Leadership Awards Ceremony on October 18:
- Robert I. Townsend, Jr. Member of the Year Award: LaTanya Langley, vice president, general counsel, and corporate secretary, BIC
- Jonathan S. Silber Outstanding Network Member of the Year Award: Real Estate Network Chair, Elena Antonetti, executive counsel, contracts and technology legal, Travelers
- Outstanding Network of the Year Award (Small Category): Women in the House (or WITH)
- Outstanding Network of the Year Award (Large Category): Intellectual Property Network
- Outstanding Network Sponsors of the Year Award: Jackson Lewis (Employment and Labor Law Network sponsor)
- Outstanding Chapter Achievement Award (Innovative Programming Effort): ACC Southern California
- Outstanding Chapter Achievement Award (Best Partnership Program): ACC San Francisco Bay Area
- Outstanding Chapter Achievement Award (Best Diversity Initiative): ACC Southern California
- Outstanding Chapter Achievement Award (Best Membership Strategy Implemented): ACC Northeast
